Product Description: Replace your standard duplex receptacle with this 20 Amp, 125 Volt, 2-pole, 3-wire NEMA 5-20R outlet. It features side wire and back wire options for easy installation and complies with UL 498 standards, making it suitable for residential use. The tamper-resistant design ensures your kids' safety. This outlet provides a total of 2 outlets and can operate in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to 40°C).

How to Install an Outlet: 1. Connect the wires according to the WIRING DIAGRAM. a. Side Wire: Remove approximately 4/5" (20mm) of insulation from each circuit conductor. Loop the wires clockwise 3/4 turn around the terminal screws and firmly tighten the screws with a torque force of 14-16 in-lbf. b. Back Wire: Remove approximately 3/5" (15mm) of insulation from each circuit conductor. Insert the straight wires under the clamps next to the appropriate terminal screws and firmly tighten the screws with a torque force of 14-16 in-lbf. 2. Mount the device in a standard wall box using the provided screws, and then install the wall plate. 3. Restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse. The installation is now complete.

ATTENTION: To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always turn the power OFF at the service panel before working with the wiring. Do NOT install the outlet in a wet location or where it can be splashed with liquid. If you are unsure about any part of these instructions, consult an electrician.
