For the installation of a Single Pole Decorative Switch from AIDA, follow these steps:

1. Connect the wires according to the provided WIRING DIAGRAM:
2. For Side Wire: Remove approximately 3/4" (1.9 cm) of insulation from the wire. Loop the wires clockwise 3/4 turn around the terminal screws. Connect the BLACK (Hot) wire to any BRASS screw, the other BLACK wire to the remaining BRASS screw, and the GREEN or BARE (Ground) wire to the GREEN screw. Firmly tighten the screws over the wire loops.
3. For Push Wire: Remove approximately 3/5" (1.5 cm) of insulation per the strip gauge from the wire. Push the #14 AWG solid copper wires into the bottom of any round hole, and the remaining #14 AWG solid copper wires into the other round hole. This device must be properly grounded for electrical shock protection. Connect the green or bare grounding wire to the green hex head screw. If the switch needs to be replaced or rewired after push-wiring, gently press the tip of a small screwdriver into the release slot and gradually back the wire out.

4. If the switch or push-in terminal becomes damaged, do not reuse it.

5. Mount the device in the wall box using the provided screws, and then attach the wall plate.

6. Restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse. The installation is now complete.
